Expressworks Federal was formed to meet the demands of large businesses and federal clients for high-end consulting services.  Mike Labit formed Expressworks Federal in March 2013.  As founder, he has over 10 years of recent experience in C-level consulting to Fortune 100 companies in the Energy sector and over 25 years of experience in executive consulting and management in the aerospace, defense, and government sectors.  This is his third successful startup, each focused on a different market sector and the first with the intent of long-term growth.  During his first startup, he focused on helping small and disadvantaged businesses seeking to do business effectively with the federal government.  After 2 turnarounds of failing client operations, he trademarked the name ​Mini-Mentoring Workshops™ to describe his method of using client initiatives as a learning opportunity for a client’s professional growth.

Initially, Expressworks Federal is focusing on implementation of client initiatives such as cultural change and transformation, strategic planning, team development, formation of new organizations, mergers, and implementation of new technology that impacts people.  We also plan to offer program management and IT services when needed.  We are committed to delivering exceptional results to clients while creating jobs in an Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone).

As an emerging small business, Expressworks Federal has an arrangement with Expressworks International LLC for partnering on new opportunities.  This mentor-protégé relationship allows Expressworks Federal to grow with access to trusted resources known for C-level implementation performance and excellence in change management disciplines.

Expressworks Federal is a Veteran owned small business headquartered in Douglas County, Nevada.  With offices in Zephyr Cove, on the shores of Lake Tahoe, it offers unique life-style attractions and tax benefits for professional hires.  Similarly, from a business demographics perspective, it is located in a redesignated Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Zone county.
